THE EFFECT OF POOR NUTRITIONAL FEEDING AMONG SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN A CASE STUDY IN KUJAMA COMMUNITY, CHIKUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF KADUNA STATE

ABSTRACT

This research work was a descriptive and non-experimental type that was carried out in Kujama Community Chikun Local Government area Kaduna State. The study is aimed at assessing the effect of poor nutritional feeding among school aged children. Simple random sampling was used to select 50 people out of 5600; the data was collected through questionnaire. Frequency tables and charts were used to analyse the data; discussion of finding was made. The researcher in order to make the research work worthy of consideration offered suggestion like Health education and public enlightenment, strengthening of school health programs and provision of school guarding to improve nutritional status of the school children in the schools.
